I recently attended Cossette West’s Convergence 2009. The conference took place at the new Vancouver Convention Center and was billed as “A forum for digital marketing and thought leadership.”
Throughout the day I took notes at the sessions I attended. I’ve posted my notes and ideas here for those of you who missed the conference.
If you read anything, read my notes from the keynote address given by David Plouffe. David was Barack Obama’s campaign manager during his bid for the presidency and was the mastermind behind Obama’s use of social media to raise $500 Million in online donations. He is a very fascinating speaker and I learned a lot from listening to him.
FYI my notes are in point form for the most part. There’s 9 pages of thoughts and ideas here so I pretty much left the content as is.

- The Intersection of Search Marketing and Social Media
- Mobile Marketing: Are we there yet?
